Data Deletion
Effective: July 23, 2026 · Contact: [email protected]
Deleted automatically, always
Location history deletes itself after 30 days — for every family, without any action from you. This is enforced in our database, not by a background job we hope runs.
Deleting your whole account
- In the app (once launched): Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes the parent account, child profiles, paired devices, zones, alerts and remaining location data.
- By e-mail: write to [email protected] from the address you registered with, subject “Delete my account”. We confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
What deletion covers
Everything tied to your family: account credentials, child profiles, consents, device records, zones, events and notifications. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within the backup rotation window (at most 30 additional days). What we cannot delete: records we are legally required to keep (e.g. an invoice), which are retained only as long as the law requires.
Removing a single child
You don't have to delete the whole account: removing a child profile deletes that child's data (profile, device pairing, locations, events) while the rest of the family stays intact. Pausing location sharing is also always available — and visible to the child.
